This is a new painting featuring a cat trying to snatch some catnip infused cookies from the cookie jar before his mother notices ( I think she already knows!).
I've just chanced upon your blog through your comment on 'simplybreakfast'. And this is a simple note to say I am smitten with your paintings which are both multi-dimensional (to my eye, at least) and meaningful! I can't actually divert my gaze from them. Also, there is something Van Gogh-esque about them, what with colours and brush strokes techniques...Exceptionally wonderful!
This is so cute! Its funny, I made cookies last night, and my partner would keep going into the kitchen and taking more...I told him "your going to be sick!" He ate so many of them! hahaha...at one point I asked him..."what is in your mouth??"...at which point he says..."nothing..." It was a riot. I am glad he wasnt sick, they were 'go to the dentist the next day' cookies! haha Cheers!!
This is fab! I love the thought of kitties stealing cookies and getting caught in the act. He looks so guilty. Your art is whimsical and so colorful. It's a real joy to view it.
