This big burly cat is enjoying his pancake breakfast. This painting was inspired by the "Inspire Me Thursday" topic of "breakfast". Also, my family enjoys the occasional pancake breakfast at IHOP.
Have you seen the cat illustrations by the Australian artist Norman Lindsay? They were done back in the 1930s I think - we have a set of prints and this one reminds me of his work!
